Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license for the state of Kansas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Previous experience in school settings highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt approaches for diverse student needs
- Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working with students, educators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Maintain comprehensive session notes and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Stay current on best practices in SLP and educational trends
