Location : Mesquite, TX – Fully Onsite

Hyperion Solutions is a technology driven vertical transportation solution with facilities around the United States. Hyperion Solutions connects trusted and respected brands to create the premier integrated provider of Systems & Components, and Technical Services for the Vertical Transportation industry. 

Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Product Engineer to join our Texacone business, based out of Mesquite, TX. Reporting to the General Manager, this position plays an integral part on the team by coordinating projects from design to production, including maintenance, development, and management of new and existing products. 

Primary Responsibilities :

· Technical Responsibilities : 

o Develop and maintain technical specifications to ensure designed performance aligns with customer needs.

o Create and/or revise technical documents and design drafts at the request of customers.

o Provide technical support and troubleshooting solutions for our customers.

· Project and Process Support: 

o Provide solutions and pricing for special parts and products.

o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and end operations, to ensure smooth project execution.

o Communicate project status and updates clearly through both written and verbal means.

· Research and Development:

o Develop product ideas based on customer audience interests.

o Identify customer problems and create functional prototypes offering a solution.

o Research new technologies, industry trends, and competitors.

o Participate in innovative efforts related to product development and improvement.

· Cross- Department Collaboration and Communication: 

o Provide product support and analysis.

o Analyze feasibility, cost, and return on investment for product ideas.

o Work with production on manufacturing and testing of new products and materials. 

o Provide input and technical support as requested by management.

o Ensure clear and effective communication between engineering, sales, and operations teams.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

· Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering

· 1-2 years of experience in product or system engineering preferred

· CAD experience required, SolidWorks strongly preferred

· Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows OS including Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Access 

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Creative and passionate about creating solutions to customer problems

· Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience:

· Experience with molding processes and polyurethane

· 3D printing

· CNC Lathe Programming
