Position: Combination Fitter/Welder

Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Combination Fitter/Welder skilled in multiple welding processes and capable of producing RT-acceptable welds on pipe. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blueprints, fabrication methods, and weld testing procedures, with the ability to work safely and efficiently in a high-standards industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes on various pipe sizes and materials
• Fit and weld pipe assemblies according to drawings and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and project documentation
• Produce RT-acceptable welds that meet code and quality requirements
• Perform 6G and branch weld tests on 12"-on-12" minimum diameter pipe
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup for each task
• Adhere to all safety and quality control standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a combination welder/fitter in an industrial or fabrication environment
• Ability to pass a 6G and branch test (12"-on-12" minimum diameter)
• Skilled in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding techniques
• Ability to read and follow detailed blueprints and weld maps
• Commitment to producing quality work and maintaining a safe workspace

Schedule:

• Week Day Shift – Monday – Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm 
• Weekend Shift – Friday – Sunday 5:30am-6:30pm

Pay: $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience
