Student Records Technician (Quality Assurance Technician) The USC Admission Processing Center is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to research and respond to inquiries, input student data, and maintain the student records database. The role assists individuals requesting information by telephone, mail, or in person and routes calls or takes messages as necessary. It also ensures system‑generated replies are sent to potential students and others requesting information. Responsibilities Data entry of admission inquiry information into the Slate system. Match current admission records or create new admission records in the Student Information System. Prep financial aid documents. Track financial aid documents in the SIS and Dexflow systems. Enter tax form data into the Student Information System. Input coursework grades and course unit numbers into DARWIN. Produce transfer credit reports. Assist individuals requesting information by telephone, mail, or in person; route calls or take messages as necessary. Ensure system‑generated replies are sent to potential students and other requestors. Set up and maintain files and records, which may contain confidential student information. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Report to the Admission Processing Manager.
