About the Job:

We are currently looking to hire a Vice President, Grocery Sales executive for our Sales team !

The Vice President, Grocery Sales will lead executive customer relationships and sales strategy across the Grocery channel. This role drives profitable growth through customer partnership development, strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, and sales team leadership while ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and business objectives. Overall responsibilities will encompass leading customer strategy, business planning, sales execution, and organizational development across the Grocery channel. This role partners with Marketing, Finance, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Solutions, and Commercial teams to drive profitable growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and deliver sustainable business results.

The role can be remote with a preference to be based in Broomfield, CO/hybrid.

This role may be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Create and own customer strategic plans that drive profitable business growth.
\n
• Lead the Grocery team in development and management of annual business plans.
\n
• Manage customer and channel profit and loss performance and influence actions that deliver against business objectives.
\n
• Ensure category insights and shopper marketing initiatives are effectively activated.
\n
• Engage cross-functional partners including Marketing, Finance, Category Management, Customer Planning, and Shopper Marketing to achieve customer and business objectives.
\n
• Develop channel-specific products, packaging, and solutions that meet customer and consumer needs.
\n
• Participate in demand planning and S&OP processes and monitor forecast performance against plans.
\n
• Identify when plan adjustments are needed based on sales performance, trade spending, and business conditions.
\n
• Develop executive-level reporting and presentations on business performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
\n
• Oversee and provide business strategy for broker-managed grocery accounts.
\n
• Build and maintain meaningful strategic customer partnerships.
\n
• Manage executive-level customer relationships and drive profitable growth.
\n
• Develop a deep understanding of customer organizational structures and decision-making processes.
\n
• Deliver customer business reviews and category performance updates.
\n
• Establish and maintain Joint Business Planning partnerships with customer leadership teams.
\n
• Collaborate effectively across Sales Finance, Customer Solutions, Demand Planning, Commercial, Customer Planning, Human Resources, and senior leadership teams.
\n
• Lead performance management, onboarding, coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and employee development activities.
\n
• Develop and maintain a high-performing sales organization focused on business growth and execution excellence.
\n

The base compensation range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000 commensurate with experience .

About You:

Education and Experience:

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
\n
• Minimum 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
\n
• Experience managing key customer relationships at executive levels.
\n
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Retail, and related business functions.
\n
• Demonstrated success in delivering profitable growth and organizational performance.
\n
• Experience leading and developing high-performing sales organizations.
\n
