Activity Coordinator - Memory Care

Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area seeks a Activities Coordinator to join the Administrative team! This position will responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the recreation program for the residents within the community.Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am- 5:00pmPay: $23.50- $24.00Shift: Full TimeMain ResponsibilitiesDevelop a program that exercise body and mind for our residentsMaintain contact and positive relationships with volunteers, contractors and vendors (teachers, speakers, group leaders, etc.)Create readable and compelling monthly newsletter and calendar of eventsStay current of research and best practices in senior care as it relates to activities and servicesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsExperience in senior living activities is a requirement for this positionMinimum of two years related experience (i.e. experience evaluating, planning and developing initiatives for a wellness or activities program)Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends and holidaysProficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and other applicable softwareLanguage RequirementAll team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures.
