About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist (OTR) at Villa Health & Rehab, you'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being. Your expertise will focus on helping residents regain function, strength, and confidence through a variety of therapies, activities, and exercises. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individualized rehabilitation needs and goals
- Design and implement occupational therapy plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being
- Conduct therapy sessions, supervise therapy assistants, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement adaptive equipment plans to support resident mobility and independence
- Document patient progress and communicate with families, clinicians, and other team members
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the state of Florida
