Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney Hybrid

Our client is seeking a North Carolina-licensed Attorney for an in-house position with a growing organization. This role is ideal for an attorney with litigation experience who can independently manage legal matters while partnering closely with company leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Handle creditor and collection-related litigation in North Carolina.
• Represent the organization in court proceedings.
• Draft pleadings and manage matters through resolution.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and outside parties.
• Advise leadership on legal exposure and regulatory issues.
• Support matters involving lending and consumer finance.
• Monitor relevant regulatory and legislative developments.

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Bar license required.
• Background in creditor's rights, collections, financial services, or related litigation.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and legal writing skills.
• Comfortable managing matters independently.
• Financial or lending regulatory knowledge is a plus.
