About us : The Company is an importer and wholesale distributor of wines and beers. We service restaurants, beverage stores, grocery stores and many others throughout Ohio from three locations: Solon, Columbus, and West Chester. Our Warehouse staff has established an industry leading level of accuracy.

Location : Warehouse in Solon, Ohio

FLSA Status : Non-exempt

Reports to : Transportation Manager

Shift : Tuesday through Friday and Mondays as needed. Start times may vary based on route. General start time is around 6am.

Job Summary : Delivery Drivers are expected to deliver wine to our customers via company trucks or vans. A CDL is not required. This work may be physical at times and requires the ability to work with minimal amounts of supervision.

Essential Duties :

• Safely and accurately deliver products to customers.
• Properly and safely drive and operate our vehicles.
• Learn assigned route and others as needed.
• Perform pre-trip safety check.
• Deliver product to customers according to generally accepted procedures.

Includes driving a Company vehicle during inclement weather per Company guidelines.

Adhere to Vintage Wine and Customer delivery hours and procedures.

Check in orders with customers.

Obtain signature on Invoice.

Collect proper payment and issue adjustments when needed per Vintage Wine guidelines.

• Upon return to warehouse

Check in at the driver check-in area.

Perform post-trip safety check on vehicle.

Check in with Accounts Receivable.

• Ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
• Perform the functions of the Day or Night Warehouse Worker positions as needed

Requirements:

• Properly represent the Company by professionally interacting with customers, colleagues, and all with whom you encounter.
• Ability to be on your feet throughout the shift.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
• BMV record with less than 6 points in the last 3 years.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read wine labels and distinguish one product from another.
• Ability to safely lift and move cases of wine, beer, natural beverages, and beer kegs repeatedly. Wine can weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate two-wheelers, pallet jacks, power pallet jacks, forklifts (training and certification provided), and other equipment as needed.
• Positive Attitude and Strong Work Ethic
• Additional hours may be required during October, November and December and other peak periods.
