Key qualifications and experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in New Mexico
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working with school-aged children with a variety of communication needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language challenges
• Developing, updating, and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Delivering direct therapy services to individuals and small groups
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ learning goals
• Documenting progress, maintaining records, and participating in IEP meetings
• Providing consultation and resources to teachers to promote communication-rich classrooms
