Location: Margate, FL 33025
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20-$26 Hourly
Benefits: Paid Time off, Holiday Pay

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our growing team!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and compassionate Lead Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing excellent patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our dentists in various procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of dental assisting experience, with expertise in endodontics, restorative procedures, and oral surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of dental assistants to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, and oral surgery.
• Perform intraoral x-rays, digital scanning, and charting.
• Manage and maintain inventory for dental supplies; responsible for ordering and stocking as needed.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Assist in managing the practice flow, ensuring timely and organized patient care.
• Collaborate with the dentist to provide the best patient care possible, ensuring clear communication and empathy.
• Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory standards, including OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience.
• CPR certified.
• Expanded Function Assistant (EFA) license.
• X-ray certification.
• Experience in endodontics, restorative procedures, and oral surgery.
• Proficiency in dental software, preferably Dentrix, Sidexis, and Dentsply Sirona Primescan.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients and work effectively with the team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
