Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, client-facing Business Analyst with ERP implementation and/or construction industry experience to support a high-visibility project for a key client in the construction industry.

The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team, gathering and documenting requirements, supporting functional and technical analysis, and ensuring implementation work aligns with business needs, technical requirements, and contractual expectations.

Candidates should bring experience working in complex business environments and have a strong understanding of either:

• ERP systems, ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, or business process transformation , and/or Construction, engineering, infrastructure, or related project-based environments
• Experience that combines ERP and construction industry knowledge is highly desirable .

Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solutions Delivery

• Gather, document, analyze, and validate client business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, process documentation, specifications, user stories, and other analysis deliverables
• Partner with technical and functional delivery teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, or system enablement.
• Support requirements traceability throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Where applicable, assist with ERP-related requirements, workflows, integrations, data needs, testing, and business process alignment.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as a key point of contact for client stakeholders
• Build trusted relationships with business, technical, and project stakeholders
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions
• Provide clear and proactive communication regarding status, requirements, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.

ERP / Business Process Support

• Work with business stakeholders to understand current-state and future-state processes
• Help translate operational requirements into system and technical requirements
• Support functional discussions involving ERP processes, system capabilities, integrations, reporting, data, or workflow requirements
• Collaborate with technical teams, subject-matter experts, project leadership, and end users throughout solution design and implementation
• Help identify gaps between business requirements and proposed system functionality.

Construction Industry Support

For candidates with construction experience:

• Apply knowledge of construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based business processes to requirements analysis
• Work effectively with operational and technical stakeholders in construction-related environments
• Understand the complexity of workflows spanning project management, finance, procurement, operations, field activities, and supporting technology platforms.

Risk & Issue Management

• Proactively identify requirements-related risks, issues, gaps, and dependencies
• Escalate issues appropriately and support timely resolution in coordination with the Program Manager and client stakeholders
• Help identify potential impacts of requirement changes across business processes, systems, workstreams, and deliverables.

Quality & Alignment

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of business analysis deliverables.
• Validate that implemented solutions align with approved requirements and client expectations
• Maintain accountability for the overall quality of BA documentation and analysis outputs.

Qualifications

Required

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst , Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, Requirements Analyst, or similar client-facing role
• Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and translating complex business requirements into structured functional and/or technical specifications
• Professional experience supporting ERP initiatives and/or working within the construction, engineering, infrastructure, or related industries
• Experience supporting complex software, systems implementation, digital transformation, or business process improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with client leadership, business users, technical teams, and project management
• Strong facilitation skills and experience conducting requirements workshops, interviews, and working sessions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical execution
• Strong risk and issue management skills with a proactive approach to identification, escalation, and resolution.
• Ability to operate effectively in environments where requirements may initially be incomplete or ambiguous.

Preferred

• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, or optimization initiatives.
• Construction industry experience, particularly with organizations managing complex projects, field operations, procurement, finance, or project delivery.
• Experience working with ERP-enabled business processes such as: Finance and accounting, Procurement and purchasing, Project accounting / project controls, Resource management, Contract management, Reporting and analytics, Data integrations
• Experience working across multidisciplinary workstreams involving both technology implementation and organizational or workforce enablement.
• Experience working with technical teams, solution architects, developers, data teams, and/or system integrators.
• Experience combining ERP implementation knowledge with construction industry domain expertise is strongly preferred.

· Contract structure: W-9 / Corp-to-Corp (C2C)
