About the Role
The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President to take on a pivotal role in their Hedge Fund Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational aspects of servicing tender offer and interval funds across various asset classes. This includes building and maintaining relationships with fund managers, administrators, and distributors, as well as designing and implementing processes to enhance and automate fund servicing. The role also involves close collaboration with various internal teams such as Investor Relations, Product, Legal and Compliance, Technology, Sales, and Marketing. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years' of experience in fund accounting, administration, or finance operations. Advanced accounting and Excel skills are essential, and experience within an audit framework is preferred. The role requires the ability to reconcile internal records, review financial statements, and provide oversight of fund administrators and other service providers. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to monitor cash positions, manage cash reserves, and ensure compliance with fund documents and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a background in private equity or private credit and be adept at defining, updating, and maintaining operating policies and procedures.
