Jumpstart Autism Collective is looking for energetic individuals to join our team as full time and part time Behavior Technicians in the heart of Albuquerque, New Mexico! As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of children with autism while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in the fields of psychology, behavioral health, and early childhood education. During our extensive training program, you will receive between $17.00 to $18.00 per hour based on your previous experience. Once training is complete, your hourly pay will increase to $18.50 to $19.50 per hour . A LITTLE ABOUT JUMPSTART AUTISM COLLECTIVE We pair Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) (the science of learning) with Precision Teaching (PT) (the science of teaching) to provide highly effective therapy to our learners, children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our early intervention classrooms allow specialization with early learners, intensive support learners, or transition readiness learners. Our highly trained team works together to meet the unique intellectual, social, behavioral, and emotional needs of every child we serve. Established in 2008, we are locally owned and operated in Albuquerque and are dedicated to making a difference in our community. DAY TO DAY AS A BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN Join our dynamic team at Jumpstart Autism Collective as a Behavior Technician, where you'll have the incredible opportunity to work one on one with children on the Autism Spectrum! At our center, you'll be instrumental in teaching adaptive skills such as language development, functional communication, social behaviors, and more in a playful and engaging manner. Using evidence-based practices including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Precision Teaching, you'll create meaningful and lasting impacts for our learners and their families. Our center based services create a supportive environment where you'll work closely with other Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) as well as our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) who create and oversee the programming unique to each child's behavioral and educational needs. WORK SCHEDULE FOR A BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN At JumpStart Autism Collective, a full time Behavior Technician works within the hours of Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:15 pm each day and is guaranteed 30-40 hours per week. No weekend or evening sessions! A part time Behavior Technician can choose between two block schedule options, morning or afternoon, and is guaranteed 20-30 hours per week . No weekend or evening sessions! Morning Block Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:45am to 1:15pm each day Afternoon Block Schedule: Monday through Friday 11:45am to 5:15pm each day REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN POSITION At Jumpstart Autism Collective, we understand that not everyone comes with a background in psychology or early childhood education, that's why we provide an extensive paid training program for all our Behavior Technicians to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
