Successful candidates will possess strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, supervise, and support staff, while effectively managing program operations, budgets, schedules, and regulatory compliance. They should also demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills in a fast-paced, person-centered environment.Essential tasks and responsibilities include:Function as a team member with Unified management staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the Agency.Ensure required services are provided to individuals served by Unified including meals, personal hygiene, medical care and recreational activities.Monitor and maintain Day Program compliance with all applicable regulations.Prepare the Day Program budget and monitor program expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budget.Conduct formal 1:1 supervision of direct reports.Oversee the Day Program to ensure quality program outcomes by providing training, supervision, and field mentoring of staff.Build and maintain a positive and professional relationship with all Unified consumers, care providers, employers, service coordinators, counselors, staff, and the community at large.Serve as a professional resource to within Unified and in community networks in the development of support for individuals with disabilities.Serve as a liaison between residential programs, coordinators, parents, physicians, and other professionals, as necessary.Adhere to Agency policies, procedures and best practices.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory responsibilities include supervising the Day Program staff and others as assigned.Qualifications include:Bachelor's Degree in Human Services is preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.Two (2) to four (4) years in of experience plus two (2) to three (3) years experience in a supervisory role.
