Perks and Benefits Affordable medical, dental, and vision plans for full‑time and part‑time employees and their families Generous paid time off that accrues over time Opportunities for tuition reimbursement and continuous education Company‑matching 401(k) and employee stock purchase plans Flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for each patient Oversee care provided by nursing and other staff on the assigned unit/shift Communicate and collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care Document care and changes in patient condition, taking remedial actions when needed Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities when required Instruct patients and caregivers on tests, procedures, treatments, and medications in understandable terms Attend interdisciplinary conferences, representing the department and relaying nursing observations Implement emergency response to crisis situations in the absence of senior management Provide a minimum of two in‑services annually Participate in identifying and implementing training needs for nurse development Qualifications Valid RN license(s) as required by state regulations CPR certification (ACLS preferred) CRRN® certification required Two years of inpatient hospital experience preferred Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred EEO Statement Encompass Health is an equal opportunity employer.
