Business Process Analyst – IT/Cyber Security Support 12-18-month Contract-to-Hire Hybrid (3 days in/2 remote) - Richmond, VA $40/hr.-$60/hr. Overview As part of Dominion Energy’s Electric Transmission organization, within the ET Operations Engineering Support team, this Business Process Analyst provides dedicated support for Dominion Energy’s cybersecurity and IT processes and compliance surrounding Third Party Risk Assessments (TPRA), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), secure data sharing with external vendors, and related administrative and coordination activities. Primary Function: Third Party Risk Assessment (TPRA) Ownership Serve as the single point of contact for TPRA activities, from intake through completion, across all new vendors, vendor changes, and annual refreshes Track vendor submissions and status in Process Unity; keep Compliance, Legal, IT, and Cybersecurity engaged so nothing stalls or falls through the cracks Field and route vendor questions throughout the assessment process Support NDA execution (with Supply Chain) as a prerequisite to purchase order issuance and vendor engagement Set up and maintain a dedicated SharePoint site per vendor (not per project) for secure data exchange, scoped to the highest data classification required for that vendor Secondary Function: OT Cybersecurity Compliance Tracking Monitor the cybersecurity compliance status of fielded OT hardware and vendor equipment Proactively surface compliance gaps — such as cases where vendor-supplied hardware is later found non-compliant only after the fact — before Cybersecurity is forced to require de-energization Help the team get ahead of compliance issues rather than react to them Reporting & Stakeholders Reports directly to the ET Operations Engineering Support team manager; may transition to a different manager over time Coordinates weekly with Compliance, Cybersecurity, Legal, IT, Supply Chain, vendors, and internal technical SMEs Ramp-up support is available from a team member on a related team as well as Supply Chain colleagues who work in this space regularly Desired Skills: Strong stakeholder management and organizational skills; comfortable coordinating across many parties with competing priorities Comfortable operating in ambiguous, lightly documented processes and building structure where little currently exists Experience with SharePoint, business workflow tools, and Microsoft Office Uses independent judgment and decision-making, and knows when to escape or involve others Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Familiarity with operational technology (OT) and/or cybersecurity principles is a plus, though not required Familiarity with regulated utilities and compliance is a plus Education: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Preferred Discipline(s): Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
