Mobile Advanced Fleet Technician

Managed Mobile, Inc. is the market leader for commercial fleet maintenance in California, Texas, and Nevada. We are seeking a Mobile Advanced Fleet Technician to diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, including tractor trailers, at customer locations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills across diesel and gas engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and DOT compliance standards.

Candidates must be comfortable working independently in the field, managing a service vehicle and inventory, and delivering quality repairs under time pressure. This is a hands-on role for a technician who takes ownership of uptime and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, up to tractor trailers
• Perform A-PMs and B-PMs
• Perform BIT and DOT inspections
• Perform PMs on trailers and limited minor repair work when needed
• Perform PMs on a variety of diesel engines, including Class 6-8 diesel engines
• Use computer diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical/electrical issues
• Travel to customer locations to complete repairs and maintenance
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory

Qualifications

What You Need To Have:

3+ yrs DOT inspections.

3+ yrs of Mobile Technician experience

Monday through Friday schedule with mid-morning flex start-times. No overnight/gravyard shifts. 10+ yrs of diesel repair experience. Knowledge of CVSA out of service criteria.

Ability to work in changing weather conditions.

Ability to pass a drug/background test.

Holds a valid Driver's License, good driving record & no suspensions.

Schedule:

• No Weekends: Work/Life Balance.
