Plasma Center Nurse - LPN

Job Description

We are looking for a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) who will support plasma center operations, ensuring donor eligibility and safety under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self‑exclusion.
• Conduct medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review serological results.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Manage donor adverse events, evaluate donor reactions, and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with the Center Physician and Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine if further evaluation is needed.
• Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate level nursing program with state requirements.
• Current LPN or LVN license in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certifications.
• Basic IV therapy credentials as required by state.
• Completed FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Minimum two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Compensation & Benefits

U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $24.32 – $33.44

The actual hourly wage offered may depend on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives and a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company match, short‑term and long‑term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well‑being benefits. Employees accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation and 80 hours of sick time annually.
