Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Contract Position)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, rotating weekends.

We are seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Room position. The ideal candidate will have essential certifications and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The unit features a diverse array of patients and requires a strong commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care in emergency settings.
• Perform clinical tasks such as splinting, EKGs, and trauma assists.
• Administer medication and monitor patient progress.
• Engage in behavioral health de-escalation and airway support.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS.
• Previous experience in an emergency department setting is preferred.
• Experience with Meditech and trauma care is a plus.
