Production Support Engineer

This role is for a Production Support Analyst supporting the Global Risk Analytics Suite Applications. The position requires hands-on experience with a variety of technologies and the ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure, multi-regional team environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for the Global Risk Analytics Suite Applications.
• Utilize hands-on experience with Unix, Quartz, Grid, Cloud, and Containers.
• Work with databases such as Oracle and Teradata, and have hands-on experience in Hadoop.
• Manage job scheduling tools like Autosys and Bob.
• Use monitoring tools including Splunk, ITRS, and DynaTrace to oversee system performance.
• Apply ITIL concepts for Incident and Problem Management using tools like ITSM Remedy or MyITSM.
• Communicate effectively with technical partners, non-technical partners, and senior management.
• Provide stand-by, out-of-hours support on a rotational basis as needed.
• Express new ideas, concerns, and opinions to the wider team in meetings.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of Production Support experience.

Technical Skills:

• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Strong UNIX / LINUX knowledge.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Working knowledge of ITIL.
• Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as ITRS, DynaTrace, and Splunk.
• Working knowledge of job scheduling tools such as Autosys and Bob jobs.
• Python scripting knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of AI tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial industry experience.
• Knowledge of Treasury and Liquidity business.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Operations exposure with Windows OS.
• Working knowledge of Tableau.
