We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to oversee financing, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting across homebuilding, commercial, mortgage, and title operations. This opportunity is well suited for a public accounting professional who wants to broaden their experience by working directly with senior leadership, lenders, investors, and operational teams.
Position Overview
The Treasury Manager will manage borrowing-base and loan reporting, develop cash flow forecasts, support financing decisions, and help strengthen treasury processes and controls. This position also provides financial analysis and supports special projects for the Treasurer and CFO.
Your public accounting experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, audit support, internal controls, and client communication can provide a strong foundation for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with obtaining and evaluating financing options for homebuilding, commercial, and mortgage operations.
- Manage loan activity for homebuilding communities and commercial projects.
- Prepare and review monthly borrowing-base reports and reconcile loan balances with lenders.
- Develop cash flow forecasts to project borrowing needs, interest expenses, and potential distributions.
- Monitor daily cash activity, execute bank transfers, and process wire payments according to established approval procedures.
- Recalculate and verify interest income and expenses across bank accounts and borrowing arrangements.
- Review bank fees and treasury services to identify discrepancies and opportunities to improve costs and efficiency.
- Assist with opening, documenting, and maintaining corporate bank accounts.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly reports for banks, investors, and management.
- Support loan renewals, lender requests, bank meetings, land appraisals, and audit confirmations.
- Track bonding requirements, assist with bond execution, and maintain accurate bond schedules.
- Analyze the financial performance of peer homebuilders and lending institutions.
- Review annual real estate tax analyses for homebuilding and commercial projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury reporting, internal controls, and processes.
- Participate in project meetings and visit communities as needed.
- Support the Treasurer and CFO with financial analysis and special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- At least six years of progressive experience in public accounting, treasury, or corporate finance.
- Strong financial analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Experience with real estate or construction financing preferred.
- Master’s degree in accounting, MBA, or CPA designation preferred.
