INTERDISCIPLINARY SOCIAL WORKER/PSYCHOLOGIST

Job Title

The role involves providing comprehensive assessment, counseling, and consultation services to clients with substance risk factors and/or disorders.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and providing counseling to clients.
• Interviewing individuals and family members as needed.
• Counseling clients on identifying early warning signs, abuse detection techniques, and preventative measures of substance abuse.
• Coordinating case management services to ensure follow-through with treatment recommendations.
• Working with clients to set goals and objectives for treatment in counseling sessions.
• Providing direct non-medical services using various techniques.
• Identifying and addressing crisis situations through clinical assessment, providing crisis intervention and safety planning.
