About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Location

Columbia, SC | Acute Care Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform clinical duties specific to electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift per week
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Adhere to all facility protocols, safety standards, and radiation safety requirements while wearing a agency-provided radiation badge

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license — must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience required
• Radiation badge required — must be supplied by the staffing agency prior to start
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic charting system
• Familiarity with both cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling based on unit staffing needs
