Description of Work We are currently hiring for Inventory Assistant. The primary purpose of the Inventory Assistant is to maintain a safe and organized warehouse, freight, inventory and supplies. Responsibilities include but not limited to verifying and processing freight accurately in N.C.F.S. and E-Procurement systems. Label and store all inventory/non-inventory related items in their proper location as well as maintaining a 98-100% inventory. Deliver all freight and supplies to proper locations. Order medical grade oxygen and data processing supplies. Store medical waste. Assist vendor with pickups.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Pay Grade: NC01 Salary Range: $31,200 - $48,810 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Qualified applicants must be proficient in written and verbal English. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Ability to perform basic math skills.

This is full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement.

Work Schedule 1st Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. including alternating weekends and holidays as scheduled, however, flexibility is required to meet hospital needs. This position is designated as
