Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced automotive technician who excels as an A or B tech to join our general automotive repair facility. Our shop specializes in both standard repairs and performance builds. The ideal candidate will be part of a medium-sized team, working primarily on performance and modified vehicles, as well as imported cars, domestic vehicles, light trucks, SUVs, and diesel engines. The role involves delivering high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining safety and efficiency during standard daytime hours. Candidates must have their own tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify vehicle issues
- Carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance inspections
- Build and enhance performance vehicles
- Replace parts efficiently and accurately
- Ensure safety compliance and quality control
- Collaborate effectively with a medium-sized team
- Manage time to complete work in a timely manner
- Occasionally interact directly with customers to explain work and address concerns
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in automotive repair
- ASE Certification
- Proficient in engine diagnostics, brake systems, electrical systems, and transmission repair
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Good time management abilities
