IT Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a mid-level IT Project Manager to organize, coordinate, and manage projects from initiation through successful completion. The ideal candidate will have experience managing IT-related projects involving systems, applications, networks, infrastructure, or similar technologies.

This is a business-facing role requiring strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders as well as technical IT resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects from planning and initiation through execution, delivery, and closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and other project resources.
• Track project scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, risks, and recommendations to both business and technical audiences.
• Apply Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies based on project requirements.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure project information is current and organized.
• Support project prioritization, issue resolution, and escalation when needed.
• Work closely with technical teams to understand project requirements, dependencies, and implementation activities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably managing IT-related projects.
• Experience with IT projects involving systems, applications, networks, infrastructure, or related technologies.
• Working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using project management tools such as Planview, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical IT teams.
• Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project activities and priorities simultaneously.
• Must be able to work on-site 4 days per week in the Lehigh Valley/Easton, PA area.
• Candidates should be local to the Lehigh Valley/Easton, PA area and able to meet the on-site requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing projects in an enterprise IT environment.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project status reporting, risk/issue management, and stakeholder communication.
• PMP, CAPM, or Agile-related certification is a plus.
