Caregiver

Caregiver Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver at Western Slope in Home Care. This is a full-time, hourly position within the healthcare/medical field located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing quality care and assistance to our clients in their homes, allowing them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Compensation & Benefits: This is a Part-Time Flexibility, hourly position with a competitive compensation of $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan options.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to clients, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with household tasks, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Follow care plans and document any changes or concerns in client's condition
• Administer medication and assist with medication management as directed by medical professionals
• Transport clients to and from appointments and errands as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver or similar role
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
