ARS employees are motivated through our industry competitive benefits package, our awards and recognition program, and personalized attention from ARS Senior Managers.Responsibilities include:Interface with USSOCOM J62 for the latest IA policy and guidancePerform vulnerability scans and assessmentsRemediate system vulnerabilities in accordance with STIGs and DoD policiesGenerate DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages; collaborate with staff agencies to obtain required authorizationsCollaborate with and provide IA technical direction to the existing engineering team and non-engineer personnelCollaborate with senior PEO personnel and other engineering and technical support related to research and assessment of emerging technologies, system integration, testing and evaluation, and system architecture design to facilitate PEO fielding of material solutions to meet mission requirementsConsult with senior management and customers concerning IA project mattersWork with XACTA, eMASS, and other cyber tools as required to maintain IA packagesWork with Windows operating systems and servers, Linux OS and servers, and other operating/processing systems as requiredApply Risk Management Framework knowledge in accordance with DoD processes, policies, and directivesOther duties as assignedQualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility. Certifications: Security+ CE or other DoD 8140 IAM Level I (or higher). Education: A degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networking, Network Administration, or Computer Programming from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required. Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years overall related Information Assurance (IA) experience to include:A combination of two (2) years of experience with RMF, DIACAP, and DoD IA policies and procedures.Knowledge of XACTA and eMassKnowledge of the Risk Management Framework in accordance with DoD processes, policies, and directivesLocation: MacDill AFB, FL On-Site/Hybrid/Remote: On-Site Travel: 25%All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
