Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Full Time Night Location: Providence, RI, US HopeHealth seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for inpatient hospice care at the Hulitar Hospice Center. Work schedule: 3, 12‑hour shifts (7 pm–7:30 am) with every other weekend requirement; 36 hours per week. Full‑time position eligible for benefits. Responsibilities Welcomes and admits patients and families to the Inpatient Unit in a professional, compassionate manner. Provides comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process from assessment through discharge. Develops, initiates, and revises individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team. Re‑evaluates patient/family/caregiver needs regularly and responds to changes. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; initiates prevention and therapeutic nursing procedures. Maintains accurate, timely documentation of patient condition and care delivered. Monitors patient status, reports changes to physicians and supervisory personnel, and records pain/symptom management outcomes. Facilitates activities of daily living, promotes self‑sufficiency, and provides health counseling as appropriate. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team, assesses patient environment, and educates about home safety when discharge planned. Precepts two‑three shifts per week during the first two‑three months. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). RN license required. 1–3 years of related nursing experience. Strong nursing assessment, clinical, and communication skills. Experience in hospice care and/or related settings preferred. Proficiency in medication dosage calculations.
