CDL Truck Driver

Position Overview Cyclone Trucking is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate company equipment to transport goods in a timely, compliant, and professional manner. This role requires strong driving skills, time-management, and adherence to all DOT regulations. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional/local/OTR routes (adjust as needed). Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment. Transport freight according to dispatch instructions and delivery schedules. Secure loads properly and ensure cargo is handled with care. Maintain accurate electronic logs and required paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members. Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) . Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol screening. Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience. Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT safety regulations. Ability to operate tractor-trailer combinations and related equipment safely. Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service skills. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Ability to climb, bend, and handle freight securement tasks.
