Job Overview Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Syracuse, New York. Responsibilities Supplemental Health Care is hiring Respiratory Therapists for contract assignments at partnering hospitals in Syracuse, New York. Duties will include but are not limited to respiratory care services to individual patients and their families, applying the clinical process in assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given. Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment. Qualifications Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner 1-2 years minimum acute care experience Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification BLS from the American Heart Association is required Strong customer service skills Ability to handle a multi-task environmentBasic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment Contract Details Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel 13-week contract with possibility of extension NOC shifts available Pay range: $1,818 - $2,023 per week* (pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation) Benefits Full medical, dental, vision, life, and even pet insurance!
