Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Lafayette, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing patient health, providing health teaching and counseling, executing supportive therapies, and ensuring documentation compliance. Flexibility to float within the department and be on-call is required.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Weekends: Requirement of 10 weekend shifts within an 8-week period (including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for night shifts).
• Experience: 1+ years of experience.
• License: Current single state or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NRP, AWHONN or C-EFM required.
• Skills & Experience: Nursing care, health assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment, supervision, documentation, consulting, delegation.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Additional Information: The role may require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications and being on-call during scheduled shifts.
