Key Responsibilities\nIn your role as a Senior Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ addiction history, mental health status, and specific treatment needs. \n
- Creating personalized treatment plans that encompass both recovery from addiction and the addressing of co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety or depression. \n
- Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to encourage client engagement and growth. \n
- Collaborating with other treatment team members, contributing to a multidisciplinary dialogue to enhance integrated care and support for clients. \n
- Providing educational resources and emotional support to families, promoting their understanding of addiction and their role in the recovery process. \n
- Maintaining detailed and confidential records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards. \n
This position primarily focuses on working with individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction, many of whom may also experience co-occurring mental health disorders. You will engage with a diverse clientele, supporting them through trauma-informed care while fostering meaningful relationships that promote lasting recovery and personal growth.
Qualifications\nTo be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

- A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field. \n
- Demonstrated specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment. \n
- A solid understanding of evidence-based practices for dealing with substance use disorders combined with co-occurring mental health conditions. \n
- Exceptional therapeutic skills, with a proven track record of building rapport and inspiring change in clients. \n
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to effectively work within a treatment team. \n
Preferred candidates will have experience in a community health clinic or similar environment, working with diverse populations and tailoring interventions to meet individual client needs. Additional training in advanced therapeutic techniques or certifications in addiction recovery approaches will be considered advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits\nThe Blue Moon Healing Collective offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on your experience and credentials. Benefits include:
