As a Behavioral Health Representative II, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless support for our on-site behavioral health providers, particularly Psychiatrists. Key Responsibilities Manage efforts surrounding BI reporting. Obtain collateral patient information from schools and other providers/hospitals as needed. Process external referrals in a timely manner. Ensure all referrals are completed and relevant documents are in the medical record. Review the schedule daily for pre-visit preparations. Call patients at risk for a no-show before appointments. Coordinate with BHC or PCP for scheduling urgent patients. Assist with training new hires and provide 1-1 shadowing. Assist with patient complaints and emergencies when BH Supervisor is unavailable. Attend mandatory all-staff meetings. Provide data entry and administrative support. Cross cover remotely and travel to other locations for coverage as needed. Ensure a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff. Promote effective teamwork to meet department goals. Minimum Qualifications One year certificate from college or technical school preferred; or one year related experience required. BLS (CPR & AED) Certification required. One year of behavioral health or clinical experience required. Two years of behavioral health experience preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Good communication skills, both direct and telephone. Ability to work in a team setting. Leadership ability for program management. Effective communication/interpersonal skills with diverse groups. Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously. Computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office. Bilingual English and Spanish speaking preferred.
