Supply Technician

This job description outlines the responsibilities, qualifications, and required skills for a Receiving & Inventory Clerk at LCMC Health. Responsibilities Assist with receiving freight and materials: unload supplies, count and verify packing lists, inspect for damage, flag exceptions, notify Purchasing, file damage claims. Receive, deliver, and process express packages (FedEx, UPS) using electronic handheld devices; match deliveries to purchase orders; generate receiving reports; perform equipment decontamination. Maintain inventory in storerooms and PAR locations: monitor stock levels, store and transport supplies, organize and scan items, replenish inventory, rotate stock, remove outdated items, and keep bins clean. Charge out and deliver supplies: deliver freight to locations, obtain recipient signatures, process direct issues, verify requisitions, and close work at shift end. Maintain medical equipment and specialty carts: manage cart fleet, deliver replacements to units, and perform equipment decontamination. Assist with cycle counts, shelf audits, and inventories: review inventory levels, advise supervisor, and participate in inventory counts. Maintain a clean and safe work environment: secure valuable items, report unauthorized personnel, keep workspaces tidy, and report safety hazards. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, or 2 years of related work experience. Preferred: experience in shipping, receiving, picking goods, logistics, distribution, purchasing, warehousing, or inventory management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with electronic handheld inventory devices. Ability to use a laptop or desktop computer. Reporting Relationships This position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities.
