Speech-Language Pathologist (Pediatric Home Health) Job Summary

CommuniCare is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide pediatric speech and language services in natural environments, including clients’ homes, daycares, and schools, as well as via teletherapy. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide speech-language evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients.
• Deliver therapy services in homes, daycares, schools, community settings, or through teletherapy as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and other required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, physicians, and other professionals to support each child’s progress.
• Educate caregivers on strategies to encourage communication outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, Medicaid, and company documentation standards.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.
• Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
