Anesthesia TechnicianAs the Anesthesia Technician, you will perform a wide variety of tasks associated with the operation, maintenance, procurement and administration of anesthesia within the Hospital.Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinates activities related to equipment decontamination and sterilization, to assure an ongoing infection control program.Demonstrates skills/knowledge appropriate to patient age-related categories as defined by LGH – neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatricEquipment decontamination and sterilizationEnsuring availability of supplies and equipmentAssisting the anesthetists as neededRequirements:High school diploma requiredPrevious experience in handling anesthesia and/or respiratory therapy equipment and working knowledge of biomedical skills preferred.Training available for the right candidate – medical professionals from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
