What You'll Do

Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department with a focus on stabilization and acute treatment.
Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately, utilizing the nursing process.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately.
Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols during all patient interactions.

What You Need
Required:

Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
At least 2 years of emergency or critical care nursing experience
Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills

Preferred:

Additional certifications in clinical specialty areas
Experience with computer-based documentation and hospital software
