Telemetry Technicians observe telemetry monitors and work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure consistent patient safety. Department: Cardiology Core Function: Nursing Support Schedule: Days, 36 hrs/wk, 7am-7pm Facility: St. John's Hospital Clinic Location: Springfield, IL Compensation that aligns with your experience**Education Qualifications*** High School Diploma or GED- Required**Experience Qualifications*** 1 year of Telemetry experience preferred* 2 years of experience in the medical field preferred**Certifications, Licenses and Registrations*** Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required* Basic Life Support (BLS) required* Certification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association- Preferred* Successfully complete basic EKG training at the first offering and 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire-RequiredScheduled Weekly Hours:36Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
