Purchasing AgentPurchasing Agent role at healthy homebuilder in Irvine. Single family and multi family products. Will join a strong team. Must have residential purchasing experience, preferably with various trades. $125K - $150K DOE + bonus potential + strong benefits.What's in it for you?Bonus potentialStrong benefitsJoin a strong teamPurchasing Agent Details:Direct hire position$125,000.00 to $150,000.00 / annuallyFirst shift (Monday through Friday)Prepare and send out request for proposal bid packages for both onsite and offsite tradesAnalyze, negotiate, and execute contracts for onsite and offsite constructionPrepare Purchase Orders and cost sheets for job starts; generate all contractsPerform cost per square foot and budget comparisonsMaintain project budget during constructionSet up rebate schedule for each jobMeet with client/owner at offsite locations for general contracting work.Monthly job cost meetingsValue engineering, cost studiesContract document review and analysisWork with all tradesPurchasing Agent Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Previous homebuilding purchasing experienceExperience purchasing single family and multifamily product types preferredProject development and purchasing experience in high end fast paced residential constructionContract negotiating, scope and specification writingAbility to successfully handle client/contractor relations and work with multiple deadlines.Proficient in Windows, Outlook, Excel and Word Special ExperienceDesired:Budgeting and purchasing for all offsite improvements a plusJD Edwards experience a plusWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
