Assistant Restaurant Manager

The opportunity Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of restaurant operations. This role requires a dedicated leader who can inspire our team, elevate guest experiences, and uphold our high standards of service. If you are a motivated professional with a strong commitment to customer service, team development, and creating a positive and dynamic work environment, Pay Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $70,304 - $80,700 / year In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures Maintain positive guest relations and high standards of service to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction Support the Restaurant Manager in training, motivating, and developing team members to maintain high performance and professionalism Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering and inventory, and oversee scheduling, payroll, and point-of-sale systems Monitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations Ability to drive company vehicles on property More About You Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service standards Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety procedures Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Proficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point of sale systems Ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications Capacity to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels Must possess a valid drivers license Shift details Days Evenings Holidays Weekends Who We Are Tenaya Lodge is a 4-diamond resort located just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park.
