MRI Technologist | Newark, New Jersey

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm
• Occasional weekend responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Radiology License required
• Registered with ARRT(MR)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience as an MRI Technologist, with proficiency in imaging techniques, patient positioning, and use of MRI equipment
• Strong communication skills when working with radiologists, physicians, and patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and patient safety

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed
• Accurately document and maintain patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with radiology team members to optimize workflow and excellent clinical outcomes
• Adhere strictly to safety and infection control procedures
