Operations Research Analyst, Journeyman

Operations Research AnalystAs an Operations Research Analyst, you will apply advanced analytical methods and quantitative techniques to support strategic decision-making, operational planning, and performance optimization in support of government mission objectives. You will design and implement mathematical models, conduct data analysis, and provide actionable insights that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance program effectiveness. In this role, you will be expected to:Apply operations research methods, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling techniques to solve complex operational and programmatic challengesDevelop and implement optimization models, simulations, forecasting tools, and decision-support systemsConduct cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and trade studies to support acquisition, logistics, and program planning decisionsAnalyze large datasets using advanced analytical tools and programming languagesProvide data visualization, dashboards, and executive-level briefings summarizing findings and recommendationsSupport strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance measurement initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including program management, engineering, logistics, and financial stakeholdersPrepare technical reports, white papers, and documentation in accordance with government standardsEnsure data integrity, validation, and compliance with applicable policies and security requirementsWhat You Will Need to Succeed:Must Haves:• Must be a US citizen possessing a Top-Secret level clearance• 3+ years of experience managing product programs, and a BA/BS degree in a relevant subject, or• 10+ years of experience managing product programs, and an associate's degree in a relevant subjectNice to Haves:• Able to conform to existing procedures and policies with repeatability, precision, and timeliness• Familiarity with NAVAIR programming and processes• Excellent communication and documentation skills• Ability to present briefings to government customer• Proficiency with MS Excel, SharePoint, and other MS Office productsWhat You'll Want to Know:· This position does not offer remote work· Primary location at Pax River, with frequent travel to Arlington, DC, Bethesda, and Dahlgren· This position is contingent upon contract awardWho We Are:ACE Group is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that provides expertise in the operational application of current and future airborne weapons systems, with an emphasis on their lethality and survivability in the Battlespace.
