Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office located in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at optimizing recovery and functionality.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols for a diverse range of patient specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by fostering positive patient relationships and contributing to the clinic's overall success.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes through coordinated care efforts.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on effective treatment methodologies and self-care strategies.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
• Meet outlined productivity standards and continuous improvement objectives set by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist in this role will work with a varied patient demographic, including children, adults, and the elderly, each presenting unique challenges and needs. You will treat individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and other impairments, applying customized therapeutic approaches to address specific limitations and enhance physical function.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification to manage potential medical emergencies effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to foster clear interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in using word processing and electronic health record software to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
