Physical Therapist Contract
A 13-week local travel Physical Therapist contract in Palm Springs, CA, offering up to $2,700 per week. The role provides full-time, patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to diagnose, treat, and educate patients on mobility and recovery. Candidates must hold a California PT license and BLS certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments and movement disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, and function
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and recovery strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and facility guidelines
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Utilize evidence-based practice techniques to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to a full-time schedule throughout the assignment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy (PT)
- Active California Physical Therapist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred Skills:
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate Degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy
- Previous physical therapy or healthcare experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care
