Per Diem Hospitalist Flexible Inpatient Care

Cottage Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Hospitalist to join our team and provide comprehensive inpatient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This flexible opportunity is ideal for physicians looking to contribute to a community hospital while maintaining work-life balance. In this role, you will manage a variety of inpatient medical conditions, working closely with nursing staff, specialists, and other departments to coordinate efficient and effective patient care. You will be responsible for accurate and timely documentation, ensuring medical records reflect the level of care provided and meet regulatory standards, including EMTALA compliance. The Hospitalist will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, support core measure compliance, and contribute to maintaining high patient satisfaction. Strong communication with patients, families, and care teams is essential to ensure a positive patient experience. We appreciate a 2 shift per month commitment for per diem roles. Qualifications Experience Required Successful completion of an accredited medical school program. Current medical license through BOM in the State of New Hampshire, active DEA number/certification Preferred Previous experience in an acute care, or function specific setting is preferred.
