Marketing Analytics Senior Associate

About this role We’re looking for a stellar marketing data analyst to use data to drive growth strategies and maximize ROI of growth channels across Faire. This person will serve as a key partner to strategic finance & marketing managers, owning tasks such as marketing payback framework, planning and forecasting, lifecycle experimentation, marketing channel analyses, A/B testing and attribution over time. Specifically, this individual will work on brand and retailer marketing analytics using attribution, A/B testing, and strategic analysis to uncover opportunity areas for growth or increase efficiency. What you’ll do Be an expert on Marketing Attribution – manage attribution and data ETLs and partner across the org to ensure proper tracking of any new marketing initiatives. Conduct analysis on attribution and generate proposals on how attribution could be improved (scalars, MTA, etc.). Design and measure experiments focused on driving user behavior within the platform, on both sides of the business. Build and analyze experiment results, developing actionable insights to be shared broadly. Own various payback & ROI analyses for Faire’s growth channels globally (Paid and Owned channels). Collaborate with strategic finance, performance marketing managers and product to set KPIs. Be a key contributor and thought partner in building measurement models for various marketing efforts including event measurement and with DS on OOH measurement. Experience with distilling complex analyses to both technical and non‑technical individuals. Scope and conduct analyses to find actionable insight for marketing campaigns that drive high ROI growth for Faire. Build and monitor strategic dashboards to gauge the impact of both Paid and Non‑Paid growth efforts on the business. Enhance existing models and automated reporting to measure performance of core & new campaigns. Propose spend growth/allocation decisions based on rigorous analysis, and communicate with key external stakeholders (Finance & Strategy, Executives, Marketing Leadership). Develop business/technical domain expertise within the broader team. Contribute to strategic planning and direction of the immediate team. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or business operations at a high‑growth startup and/or marketplace business. Highly analytical and data‑driven, capable of completing complex analyses, defining critical metrics, sizing opportunity areas, and reporting on performance across the business. Adept at leading through influence and executing with precision. Strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize at the appropriate level. Ability to think across multiple business dimensions and P&L, and collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver results. Flexible between analytical, strategic, and operational aspects of the job. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with constant change. Knowledge of SQL required. Knowledge of A/B testing best practices and measurement required. Salary Range San Francisco, CA & New York City, NY: the pay range for this role is $128,000 - $176,000 per year. Hybrid Work Arrangement Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office three days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in‑office roles may work remotely up to four weeks per year. Specific workplace and information technology positions may require onsite attendance five days per week as indicated in the job posting.
