Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 06:45)

Job Description

The Certified Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, including those with COVID-19. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments for patients as prescribed.
• Care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation and perform extubation and intubation assistance.
• Manage and maintain airway devices like tracheostomy tubes and assist with weaning from mechanical ventilation.
• Document patient responses to treatments in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Valid BLS and RRT certifications are required; CRTE is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is heavily preferred.
