Altruix is seeking a Delivery Driver to support pharmacy operations based out of our Annapolis, MD pharmacy. We are specifically looking for candidates who reside in Delaware, as this role will primarily service delivery routes throughout Delaware. The selected candidate will report to our Annapolis pharmacy each workday to load medications and supplies before traveling to Delaware to complete their assigned delivery route.

This position will assume delivery responsibilities that are currently handled by a courier service and plays a critical role in ensuring medications are delivered safely, accurately, and on time while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related travel. Employees will also be compensated for their travel time between their home and the Annapolis pharmacy at the start and end of each workday.

Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities

• Report to the Annapolis pharmacy each workday to prepare and load medications before completing assigned delivery routes throughout Delaware using a company-provided vehicle.

• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle in accordance with company policies and traffic laws.
• Deliver prescription medications and pharmacy supplies throughout Delaware in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Obtain delivery signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Handle and transport medications in compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Utilize company-issued technology and communication devices as required.
• Represent Altruix professionally while interacting with patients, facilities, and business partners.
• Complete required compliance and safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), background check, and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Annapolis, MD each workday.
• Strong time management, organizational, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous delivery, courier, or logistics experience.
• Experience working in healthcare, pharmacy, or another regulated environment.
• Familiarity with Delaware roadways and delivery routes.
• Experience using GPS navigation and route planning tools.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Workdays and hours will vary based on business needs and delivery schedules.
• May include early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
• Position is based out of Annapolis, MD. Candidates should reside in Delaware or nearby and be able to report to the Annapolis pharmacy to collect medications and supplies before completing daily delivery routes throughout Delaware.
